Flea Control

Flea Control

Fleas are blood-sucking pests that live in the hair of domestic animals. They can suck blood from cats, dogs and farm animals as well as humans. Their bites itch and cause skin reactions. They can transmit important parasitic and bacterial diseases when biting. Adult fleas are found in the hair of animals, but their other developmental forms - eggs, larvae and pupae - may be scattered throughout the house or garden. Veterinary preparations should be used to get rid of adult fleas on pets. Chemicals are applied to the areas where the animal spends time. Click here for more information about fleas.
